The Engineer
Celeste was the second child of recycling experts on an asteroid colony in the Oort cloud, but as she neared adulthood the station became overcrowded.
She joined The Vision’s crew believing she was going to upgrade and maintain its recycling systems. A task that would easily pay her way.
Instead Don kept her on as the only full time engineer on The Vision, telling her that he would hire a chief engineer soon, but never actually trying.
The Agent
A member of The Accord, Gordon was sent to kidnap the twins to help keep the secret of faster than light travel a secret.
That changed when Don broadcast the knowledge of the FTL engine. He remained on the crew in part because he wants to do good, and in part because of his obligation to Mary who he feels he failed because he escaped from the same pirates who captured her.
